As Founder Will plays a leading role in setting Client and Partner strategy for large and small enterprises seeking support and guidance on innovation investment, technology strategy, and business leadership; the result is planning and growth for Clients of all types and Partners of any scale.
Established as a micro-business in aerospace Will has led the inward investment and resulting high-growth of Axillium to become an award winning, multi-sector professional services business which became independently operated and employee owned in June 2015.
Today Axillium has a track record of defining and investing £190m of public & private investment with forecast growth and economic benefit in excess of £5bn by 2020. Tangible returns are both social and economic through a mix of technological change in high value innovation projects and the resulting cultural change which Axillium ‘grand challenges’ and ‘cluster’ programmes develop.
Will brings a unique knowledge and experience of SME engagement at levels of industry, academia and government, along with an ability to connect partners and find new approaches. This approach allows a culture of successful cooperative relationships to be established and barriers crossed, always with a focus of leading successful delivery.
As a new entrant in Defence sector Will leads the Dual Use Technology Exploitation programme as Innovation Director bringing his knowledge and insight from the non-defence manufacturing sector and best practice for SME engagement for the value chain, BIS stakeholders, and to the defence sector as a whole.
